Indiscriminate eating habits with no care for body’s bio needs and well being lead faster to degenerative diseases which gradually undermine health and longevity of life.
Dietetic ignorance is the core of the problems of overweight. We are what we eat.

Food bears a life time relationship to the body. We should know what to eat and what not to eat and how much to eat and when to eat. These are questions that have to be asked to oneself if one wants to stay fit.
Alcohol is a drug and as such any drug that is in took in excess is harmful. Alcohol can be an improver of appetite. But the word is deceptive. One must know when to stop.
Set reasonable limits to ones self. Learn to say no. drink slowly, dilute your drinks; do not drink on your own. One should eat a balanced diet. A diet contains adequate quantities of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. All these provide energy. Vitamins and minerals and fibers gives one all the nutrients one need.

1. Do not eat meat more than once a day. Choose fish and poultry in place of red meat, sausages and processed meat. Fish and poultry are less fattening
Baked or broiled food is better than frying it. Use polyunsaturated oils rather than butter or saturated margarine

Cut down on salt another sodium

Get your daily requirements of fiber by eating plenty of leafy vegetables Try eating them raw?
Eat only four eggs a week
For desert choose fruits than cakes and puddings.

Coupled with walking, cycling, running, jogging, yoga or any other health exercises will make one fit.
