Need help to get my "husband" back

I left him physically but not mentally for him to learn about the world and the value of money and life all together which I think he did learn, the hard way. However, maybe because he needed someone constantly looking after him and sweet talking him, he went after few people trying his luck to form another relationship possibly assuming that I lost my confidence and faith in him. I had to let go. There was no way the relationship would have lasted if I had hold on. We separated and learnt and grew on our maturity levels. Only difference was, I wanted to apply whatever I had learnt to treat him better but he chose to apply all that to someone else. This someone else knowing that our relationship was on rocky grounds just ignored the sacrifices I had put for several years and took advantage to snatch him away. I made a mistake in pitying her in the first place and I shouldn't have given up so easily. So, here I seek the help to get him back especially since she is not a very good person from not a very good family. Thank you.
