A wooden or cardboard box of any shape and size

Method:

Paint the inside of the box with glossy black paint. Make sure that the box has a lid as well. Then align the box with a surface that reflects irregularly, like aluminum or silver foil. Decorate the outside of the box with geometric designs and ensure that the shapes are all closed figures. Don’t draw lines and rays. All the shapes need to be closed figures. Next light the candles and the solar incense around the box. You may either light them one at a time or all together.

State your intent. Say something like you are performing this ritual as you are deeply ashamed of what happened and that you wish to remain true to your lover. The verses need not necessarily rhyme but then your intentions must be clearly expressed.

Once you do this open the box and gaze inside. Pour out all the details that you wish for your lover to forget. Make sure that you have covered all that you need to make your lover forget. Once you have done this, close the box immediately. Make sure you have closed it tightly. You may also use a cloth to bind your box. Then blow out all the candles and snuff out the incense. Then you may either bury the box or have it thrown in the sea. You may even burn the box. Destroy the box in whatever manner you see fit.
