i wish for a chance with you

all i ask of you is a chance . . . you said you liked me and wanted to be with me. you said it felt right to meet me. you kissed me . . . then you said the click was just gone. i know you are still hurt by your ex girlfriend, and claim you still love her. you say she has nothing to do with your feelings towards me. so why did the click just up and leave you? i wish for a chance with you. if thats not possible then just a phone call or a text message and to stilll be friends. i havent talked to you in almost 3 weeks. we went from hanging out almost every weekend . . . to seeing you once every other weekend . . . now when i call you, you dont answer and if you do its some vague perhaps ill call, but the call never comes. i wish bryan scanlon 8.12.85 would give me . . . JLK 7.19.86 . . . a chance. please, all i want is a chance or some clarity. should i keep chaseing you, may there one day be hope for a relationship with you? or should i forget it and go about my life with you as a distant "just a friend" . . . at least 5 times a day, my mind wanders to you and i feel hopelessly lost. i keep the picture i took of you the night you kissed me beside my bed . . . . i wish for a chance. i want a chance.
